Fulham Snub Chukwueze Option: Eagles Star Set to Return to Milan

Fulham Snub Chukwueze Option: Eagles Star Set to Return to Milan — 1 of 3
1 / 3

Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze will head back to AC Milan after Fulham opted not to trigger his €25–30 million purchase clause. The 27-year-old registered three goals and four assists during his loan spell at Craven Cottage. Despite flashes of brilliance, inconsistent performances led Fulham’s hierarchy to pass on a permanent deal. With Milan in a rebuild following Max Allegri’s departure, Chukwueze’s long-term role is unclear. Everton and several other clubs are reportedly monitoring the Nigerian as the summer transfer window approaches.

It's odd that such a young winger with flashes of brilliance didn't convince Fulham to invest between twenty-five and thirty million.

I'm not sure his inconsistency really justified sending him back, maybe Milan can handle those ups and downs better than Fulham.

Fulham should reinvest their budget wisely now—target a more consistent wide player instead of breaking the bank for unpredictable form.
