Okonkwo to Obi: ‘You Scored Third Class Yet Claim Only You Can Lead Igbo to Aso Rock’
ADC chieftain Kenneth Okonkwo accused Peter Obi of implying that he alone can represent over 20 million Igbo people in the presidential race. Speaking on national TV, Okonkwo reminded Obi of his third-class university degree and called the claim insulting to other qualified Igbo leaders. Okonkwo revealed that he defended Obi within the party by endorsing his choices for National Organising Secretary and online membership registration head. He urged Obi to step aside, arguing that the Igbo nation has many capable individuals ready to lead Nigeria.
