Okonkwo, Azeez Among Early Arrivals as Super Eagles Open Unity Cup Camp in London
Goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo and winger Femi Azeez have joined the Super Eagles at their London training camp ahead of the 2026 Unity Cup. Owen Oseni, Terem Moffi, Tochukwu Nnadi and other foreign-based pros are also in camp under head coach Éric Chelle. Eight home-based players — including Junior Ayobami, Al-Ameen Tijani and Michael Atata — travelled with the coaching staff. Fourteen more, such as captain Wilfred Ndidi and winger Moses Simon, are expected to arrive in the coming days. Training begins tonight at Cray Valley ahead of the semi-final against Zimbabwe on 26 May at Charlton Athletic’s Valley Ground. The tournament final is slated for 30 May.
