Yomi Casual Mourns Alexx Ekubo: Regrets Missing His Final Days

Yomi Casual Mourns Alexx Ekubo: Regrets Missing His Final Days

It is with a heavy heart that I share this tribute to my brother, Alexx Ekubo. For over 15 years, Alexx was not just a friend but family. We built dreams, celebrated victories, faced challenges, and created memories that forever bind us. Alexx was a rare gem—kind, loyal, and selfless. He showed up without hesitation and supported everyone privileged to know him. Our friendship was the envy of many. We laughed, argued, hustled, won, and always found our way back to each other. What pains me most is not being by his side in his final days. If only I’d known our time was so short, I would have done anything to stay close. Thank you, Ore, for your guidance, sacrifices, and countless memories. Rest peacefully, dear brother. You will never be forgotten.

Chai, missing those final moments really opens your eyes to cherish every moment with true family and close friends.

Social media tributes like this can feel heartfelt, but sometimes I wonder if they're more about public mourning than private grief.

True, public displays do feel performative, but maybe Yomi's grief is genuine behind the scenes too.

I understand missing his last days is painful, but regret alone won't bring him back or heal the loss.

Editing a photo album or writing down shared stories could be a tangible way to keep Alexx's memory alive for friends and family.
