Timi Dakolo Denies Owing DJ Timmy N4.1m, Threatens Legal Action Over Scandal Claims
Timi Dakolo’s lawyers have dismissed allegations by DJ Timmy that the singer owes him 4,106 and has refused to pay. DJ Timmy had shared an invoice to support his claim and warned he would expose Timi’s private activities to his wife abroad. According to the signed performance agreement for a planned UK tour, the promoter—Revolve Entertainment and its representative, Baddest DJ Timmy—was responsible for venues, production, visas, flights, accommodation, and other expenses. The tour never happened because the promoter failed to meet technical requirements for sound and lighting. The statement adds that any costs incurred by the promoter were non-recoupable under the contract and that Timi never announced the tour as the promoter did not fulfill its duties. The legal team has demanded the removal of defamatory posts, a public retraction, an apology, and a promise to stop tarnishing the singer’s image or face court action.
