“SOLACE” Film Screening to Mark World Sickle Cell Day 2026

Penscroll Media Productions and the LASU Theatre Arts Alumni Association invite you to a special screening of “SOLACE”, a short film and documentary that explores the realities, challenges, hopes and triumphs of individuals living with sickle cell disorder. The event holds on Friday, 19 June 2026 at 10:00 am at the Femi Gbajabiamila Conference Centre, Lagos State University, Ojo. Attendees will include healthcare professionals, advocates, policymakers, students, creative industry members and the general public. More than a film screening, “SOLACE” aims to foster empathy, spark meaningful conversations and inspire collective action to improve support systems for people affected by sickle cell disorder. Join us for an impactful morning of education, advocacy and social change.
