The stalemate pushed Trabzonspor from second to third and dented their hopes of catching Galatasaray at the top. Tekke singled out persistent fouls on Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu. He argued that referee Alper Akarsu let defenders foul Onuachu without punishment, disrupting his impact on the game. The draw also puts Europa League qualification at risk, with Trabzonspor now two points behind Fenerbahçe. Despite the setback, Onuachu remains the Super Lig’s top scorer this season with 22 goals.
