Food Service Pros Unite at APFSPN’s Inaugural Town Hall and New Member Induction

The Association of Professional Food Service Providers of Nigeria (APFSPN) will host its first Town Hall Meeting and induction ceremony on June 17 at the Professor Wole Soyinka Centre for Arts and Culture, Iganmu, Lagos. Under the theme “The Business Behind the Plate,” the event will gather caterers, restaurateurs, culinary professionals, policymakers and development partners to discuss industry standards, collaboration and growth. Highlights include keynote addresses, panel discussions, an exhibition showcase and networking sessions. APFSPN’s leadership says the gathering marks a milestone in giving food service professionals a unified platform for training, advocacy and business development. International delegations from the Canadian Trade Commission and Italian Trade Agency will also attend, with over 500 stakeholders expected.

It's notable they chose the Wole Soyinka Centre for Arts and Culture, but I wonder if the venue aligns with the practical needs of food service professionals.

I'm not convinced a single Town Hall can address every challenge in Nigeria's food service industry; some issues need ongoing collaboration beyond one-day events.

Attendees should prepare clear questions about supply chain costs and staffing strategies to make the most of the June 17 induction session.
