Has the 2027 Election Been Decided Before Voting Even Starts?
I feel President Tinubu may cruise to victory in 2027. Not because Nigerians are satisfied, but because the opposition remains fragmented and weak. Beyond party politics, we face elite capture, ethnic dominance, minority suppression, weaponized poverty, and weak institutions. Many of us feel politically exhausted and defeated. It now seems we either vote peacefully for Tinubu or watch victory forced through intimidation, vote buying, snatching, and manipulation. This isn’t about one man anymore—it’s about whether our system can deliver genuine democratic change. Am I wrong? Can the opposition unite before 2027? Do Nigerians still believe their votes count? Is Tinubu genuinely unbeatable? Are we adapting to hardship or simply surrendering to it? What must change for elections to reflect our will?
