Why Tribal Loyalty Is Blinding Our Judgment

I’ve noticed that some people defend Chike and Sandra Onyenucheya simply because they share the same tribal background. They overlook how Sandra betrayed her marriage and still shower them with praise. The same loyalty extends to Peter Obi supporters. They ignore his record as governor and dismiss more capable leaders just because Obi is “one of us.” This tribal bias undermines honest debate about competence and performance. I wish more Nigerians would listen to voices like Ijele instead of extreme figures. People such as Obi Cubana, Chief Priest, Soludo, and Dave Umahi face unwarranted hate when they don’t follow this tribal mindset.
