Super Falcons Defender Shukurat Oladipo Extends AS Roma Deal to 2029
Shukurat Oladipo has sealed a new contract with AS Roma, committing her future to the Italian champions until 30 June 2029. Since joining the club in February 2025, the central defender has made 32 appearances and played a pivotal role in Roma’s 2025/26 Scudetto and Coppa Italia triumphs. She has also been a consistent presence in the Super Falcons squad since the 2024/25 season. The 21-year-old joined from NWFL side FC Robo Queens and was named the Italian Women’s League Best Defender last season. She has earned a place in Nigeria’s squad for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
