Henry Cavill rose to fame as Superman in Man of Steel (2013), Batman v Superman (2016) and Justice League (2017). Born in Jersey in 1983, Cavill is the fourth of five sons. He attended St Michael’s Preparatory School and Stowe School, where he excelled in sports and drama. His early TV roles include The Inspector Lynley Mysteries and The Tudors, which earned him critical acclaim. An active philanthropist, Cavill supports the Royal Marines Charity and the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.
