Ogun State Police Command marked World Malaria Day with a free medical outreach at the Police Officers’ Mess in Ibara, Abeokuta. In partnership with The Life Projects and other corporate sponsors, officers, their families and civilian staff received mosquito nets, anti-malarial drugs, parasite testing and consultations. Health education sessions highlighted environmental hygiene and prevention practices to curb malaria within barracks and nearby communities. The state Commissioner of Police praised the partners and stressed that a healthy workforce is vital for public safety. The Police PRO reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to staff and community wellbeing.
