Theft Strikes England’s Training Camp: Balls and Boots Stolen in Kansas City

England’s squad suffered a setback when key training gear went missing in Kansas City. Vehicles carrying balls, boots and other equipment were broken into en route to Swope Soccer Village before the team’s arrival on Saturday. Kansas City police are working with The Football Association to investigate the theft. Two arrests have been made so far as officers search for the stolen items. The incident could disrupt Thomas Tuchel’s preparations ahead of England’s World Cup opener against Croatia on Wednesday. The players are set for their first full training session on Sunday.

Considering the theft, do they have spare equipment to sustain usual drills ahead of their next match?

I'm not convinced this theft will seriously derail the squad; they likely have spares ready from before the trip.

The team should arrange local storage facilities with monitored access and rely less on roadside parking for valuable equipment.
