UNIZIK and FG Launch ₦5M YEIDEP Grants to Empower Southeast Youth

The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University has joined forces with the federal government’s YEIDEP to support young entrepreneurs in the South-East. The Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Programme offers non-repayable grants of up to ₦5 million for businesses in agriculture, ICT and vocational trades. The scheme is managed by the Federal Ministry of Youth Development in partnership with Youths Off The Street Initiative. Director-General of YOTSI, Kennedy Iyere, says this collaboration will expand opportunities and drive economic growth in the region. Under this administration, UNIZIK continues to equip students with skills and funding to build sustainable ventures.
