Silva Optimistic on Iwobi’s Return Before Season Ends
Fulham boss Marco Silva says Alex Iwobi could be back in action before the campaign wraps up despite his recent hamstring setback. Iwobi pulled up injured late in the first half of last weekend’s 0-0 draw with Brentford. Initial fears hinted he might miss the rest of the season, but Silva believes the 29-year-old will recover in time. Silva also provided updates on other sidelined players, adding that Kenny is back on the grass and Kevin is doing individual work. Iwobi has registered four goals and three assists in 27 league outings. Fulham face Aston Villa at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
