Crystal Palace have appointed 47-year-old French coach Pierre Sage as their new manager. Sage agreed a three-year contract after impressing last season with RC Lens. He led Lens to a second-place Ligue 1 finish and secured Champions League qualification. “It’s amazing to be here at Crystal Palace. I am excited by the history of the club and by recent seasons,” Sage said on his appointment.
