He noted that one impersonator had already defrauded a lady of ₦33 million and wondered what magic the scammer used. Yoruba actress Bimpe Akintunde publicly cursed a scammer who used her photos and name to deceive people. Portable’s baby mama, Ashabi, also begged fans to report a fake account using her image. Actor Alesh Sanni offered a ₦500,000 reward to expose a woman posing as his friend to scam millions. Singer Peter Okoye and businessman Obi Cubana separately warned followers about fraudsters exploiting their names online.
