Israel DMW, Davido’s logistics manager, urged Nigerians to report his verified Twitter impersonator before it causes further harm. He shared a screenshot of the fake tweet and questioned why Twitter granted it verification. Actor Bolanle Ninalowo raised alarm over multiple TikTok accounts using his identity. He noted that one impersonator had already defrauded a lady of ₦33 million and wondered what magic the scammer used. Yoruba actress Bimpe Akintunde publicly cursed a scammer who used her photos and name to deceive people. Portable’s baby mama, Ashabi, also begged fans to report a fake account using her image. Actor Alesh Sanni offered a ₦500,000 reward to expose a woman posing as his friend to scam millions. Singer Peter Okoye and businessman Obi Cubana separately warned followers about fraudsters exploiting their names online.
