West Ham Enters €35m Race for Nigeria’s Chibuike Nwaiwu
West Ham United have reportedly lodged a €30 million bid for Nigeria centre-back Chibuike Nwaiwu. The 22-year-old joined Trabzonspor from Wolfsberger AC in the winter window and impressed with three goals and an assist in 16 league appearances. His strong performances also helped the Black Sea Storm clinch the Turkish Cup. Trabzonspor have already turned down two offers from Fulham and are holding out for around €35 million. Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen are also said to be tracking the former Enyimba defender.
