Restore Gently and Reap Good: Insights from Galatians 6
Paul urges believers to help restore anyone caught in sin. We should do this gently, mindful that we too can face temptation. Carrying each other’s burdens helps us fulfil Christ’s law, while personal self-examination guards against pride. Scripture reminds us that God cannot be mocked: we will reap what we sow. Sowing to please the flesh brings destruction, but sowing to please the Spirit leads to eternal life. We are encouraged not to grow weary in doing good. At every opportunity, we should extend kindness to all people, especially our fellow believers. By persisting in goodwill, we trust that in due time we will reap a rich harvest if we do not give up.
