Isaac Fayose Rebukes Brother Over Alleged Makinde Kidnap Plot to Thwart Tinubu

Isaac Fayose has criticised his elder brother, former Ekiti Governor Ayodele Fayose, for accusing Governor Seyi Makinde and the Oyo State Government of staging the recent abduction of 46 pupils and teachers to embarrass President Bola Tinubu. Speaking in an interview on Channels Television, Ayodele Fayose blamed the federal government for the kidnapping. Isaac Fayose challenged this view, reminding his brother that similar attacks have occurred in APC-led states like Borno, Niger and Kwara without such allegations. Isaac pointed out that kidnappings even hit their home state of Ekiti, yet Ayodele did not question the state governor there. He urged his brother to offer constructive solutions on insecurity or refrain from baseless claims.

I agree, it's surprising he chose to address such sensitive accusations in public like this.

It's interesting that this disagreement plays out publicly, especially given the gravity of accusing state officials of staging an abduction.

I no dey convinced that a staged kidnapping makes any sense politically without clear evidence from either side.

Before drawing conclusions, both parties should present concrete evidence and call for a transparent investigation into the alleged plot.
