Living in Freedom: Embracing 1 Corinthians 10:23–33
Paul reminds us that although believers may have the right to do anything, not every action is beneficial or constructive. Our freedom should be used to seek the good of others rather than just ourselves. We can eat whatever is offered without questions of conscience, but we must also respect the convictions of those around us. If a meal is linked to sacrifice, for the sake of another’s conscience, we choose to abstain. Ultimately, in everything we do—eating, drinking, or any action—we are called to honour God and consider others. Our liberty becomes a witness that leads many to salvation.
