Could You Still Be Good Without Belief in God?
I grew up surrounded by people from different backgrounds. We respected everyone and never judged anyone by tribe or gender. That experience shaped how I see the world. I reject tribalism as a tool for selfish gain. I treat everyone fairly and never show favoritism based on origin. I choose my own path instead of following the crowd. Living authentically can impress those around you. Some admire honesty and consistency. Others react with envy or confusion. I explain my choices but won’t waste energy convincing those who can’t relate. I believe in balancing respect for loved ones with staying true to myself. For example, I’ve agreed to cut back on adult content if it hurts my wife, but I won’t abandon my values completely. When someone asked if I’d still be good without God, I said yes—as long as it keeps my peace of mind. I act morally because it feels right, not out of fear or for a reward. What do you think?
