Arokodare Denies Training Row at Wolves, Vows Professionalism Amid Transfer Speculation

Arokodare Denies Training Row at Wolves, Vows Professionalism Amid Transfer Speculation — 1 of 2
1 / 2

Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare has dismissed reports that he disrupted a Wolverhampton Wanderers training session during pre-season. Rumours suggested a disagreement with new manager César Peixoto led to the cancellation of a first-team session and tighter security around the player. The 25-year-old, who joined Wolves from Genk for £23.4 million, insisted these claims are inaccurate. In a statement on social media, Arokodare said he remains committed to honouring his contract and preparing himself fully for whenever he is called upon. He also emphasised his pride in maintaining professional standards throughout his career. This dispute comes as the forward, who scored six goals in 38 games last season, continues to be linked with a move away, including interest from Ajax.

Do you think Arokodare's denial of the training row will satisfy fans and media, or will speculation just keep building around his next move?

It's interesting that Wolves felt the need to tighten security around training after those rumors, even though no official proof of any row emerged.

Rather than chasing headlines, focus on his actual match performances and club statements to gauge whether a transfer is really on the horizon.
