NWFL Super Six Final Day: Edo, Bayelsa and Nasarawa Vie for Title

The 2025/26 NWFL Super Six playoffs reach their climax this Sunday. Defending champions Bayelsa Queens, host Edo Queens and Nasarawa Amazons are all still in contention. Edo Queens top the standings on nine points. Bayelsa Queens and Nasarawa Amazons follow closely with seven points each. The headline match sees Edo Queens face Bayelsa Queens at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium main bowl, while Nasarawa Amazons take on Rivers Angels on the mini pitch. Abia Angels and Robo Queens open the day seeking pride and a higher finish. After the final whistle, medals and individual honours will be awarded, including Player of the Season, Goalkeeper of the Season, Top Scorer and Fair Play Awards. The champion will also secure a spot in the 2026 WAFU B Women’s Champions League, adding extra stakes to what promises to be a memorable finale.
