1 / 4

Staff and heads of department at Yusuf Bala Usman College of Education and Legal Studies, Daura, recently completed an intensive training under the Electronic Education Initiative (E-DON). The hands-on sessions introduced custom QR interactive boards and 3D simulation software to modernize teaching methods and boost classroom engagement. This programme is part of TETFund’s 2025 Zonal Intervention in collaboration with the National Commission for Colleges of Education. It aligns with Nigeria’s broader digital innovation agenda and highlights the current administration’s focus on technology-driven learning and entrepreneurship in higher education. Participants praised the initiative for simplifying complex concepts and called for regular capacity-building workshops. The Deputy College Librarian, Hajiya Halima Daura, thanked TETFund, the commission, and the E-DON team for their vision. Many hope this marks a new era of dynamic instruction across Nigerian tertiary institutions.
