Nmesoma Confident Kun Khalifat FC Can Escape NPFL Relegation

Nnorom Nmesoma believes Kun Khalifat FC can secure their NPFL survival as the season winds down. The Owerri side currently sits bottom of the table with 36 points from 33 matches but boosted morale with a 1-0 win over Nasarawa United. With five games remaining, the squad is determined to finish strongly. “We are in good spirit after our recent run. Our confidence is high,” Nmesoma told the club’s media team. He added that everyone will stay focused and give their best in each fixture. This weekend, Kun Khalifat FC hosts Warri Wolves at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.

One win against Nasarawa United sounds good, but five matches is still a long road without more consistency.

One win helps morale, but liga no easy. Kun Khalifat still face tough fixtures, they can't relax yet.

A single 1-0 victory hardly reflects consistent form, especially for a team stranded at the bottom with such slim point margins.

I'm not convinced that one morale-boosting win will carry them through five tough matches, relegation scrap demands consistent results.

They should focus on tightening their defense and securing draws on the road, adding vital points before chasing wins at home.
