Mr Arinzechukwu Awogu has emerged as the All Progressives Congress candidate for Ogbaru Federal Constituency after the May 16 primary. The former Ogbaru Local Government Council chairman secured 688 votes, winning in all 16 wards. His nearest rival, Mrs Nkechi Isamade, scored 41 votes. The exercise was overseen by Mr Emeka Michael Israel, who certified the result across the constituency.
