1 / 3

On May 10, 2026, Maisha Odiakosa, daughter of Chief Michael Onyekali Brian Odiakosa, was formally admitted into the Ada Ogbe-Owelle group in Idumuje-Unor. The ceremony, led by the Ada Ogbe of Ogbe-Owelle Quarters in Idumu Obu Village, marked her traditional acceptance as nwa ada for both the village and the wider community. Chief Michael Onyekali Brian Odiakosa celebrated the occasion as a chance to reconnect his children with their Anioma roots and ensure the continuity of family heritage. Maisha was adorned in coral beads and presented with Akwa-Ocha fabric, symbols of purity, identity, and pride among the Anioma people.
