Josh Hart Trolls Arsenal After Champions League Heartbreak: “London Is Blue”

New York Knicks forward Josh Hart didn’t hold back when asked about Arsenal’s dramatic Champions League final loss to Paris Saint-Germain. The vocal Chelsea supporter seized a media day moment to remind Gunners fans that their side has never lifted Europe’s biggest club trophy. Hart’s jibe came during a press session ahead of Game 2 of the NBA Finals. With a smirk, he asked: “Have Arsenal ever won the Champions League? How long have they been around? London’s blue, never red. Up The Chels.” Off the court, Hart has also been making history on it. In Game 1 against the Spurs, he posted 15 rebounds, six assists and four steals in just 27 minutes. That stat line cemented him as the first player in NBA playoff history to reach those numbers under 30 minutes and helped the Knicks take a 1-0 series lead.

Was Hart's move just playful banter, or do you sense a deeper intention behind calling London Blue?

It's surprising that a basketball player would stir football rivalry like this, using media day to jab Arsenal fans.

Rally Chelsea fans sure, but mocking a loss you had no part in is just petty and won't change Arsenal's European record.
