Mikel Obi: Conte Benched Me for Playing in Rio 2016

Former Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi revealed on his Obi One podcast that Antonio Conte relegated him to the Chelsea reserves as punishment for turning out at the 2016 Olympics. Despite the success in Brazil, Conte reportedly refused to play him on his return. Mikel says he has no regrets about representing his country at the Games.
