Maikaba, Uwejamomere Appointed Coaches of Flying Eagles and Golden Eaglets

The Nigeria Football Federation has named Abdu Maikaba as head coach of the Flying Eagles and Eboboritse Uwejamomere as boss of the Golden Eaglets. Maikaba previously led several top NPFL clubs, including Enyimba FC, Kano Pillars and Plateau United. He was assistant coach of the Flying Eagles under Paul Aigbogun and guided Akwa United FC to the 2017 Federation Cup title. Uwejamomere has served as coach-analyst for the Super Eagles and Super Falcons. He currently heads the academy at Sporting Lagos FC and has held youth development roles at Millwall FC, Gillingham FC and Nottingham Forest FC in England.
