GFA Eyes World Cup Semifinalist Walid Regragui to Replace Otto Addo
The Ghana Football Association has reached out to Walid Regragui to lead the Black Stars after Otto Addo’s departure. Regragui is available after his AFCON exit with Morocco. He made history as the first African coach to reach a World Cup semi-final in 2022 and is keen to rebuild Ghana’s momentum ahead of their June opener against Panama. Otto Addo was dismissed following consecutive losses to Germany and Austria. His final record in charge stood at eight wins, five draws, and nine defeats over 22 matches.
