HND Computer Engineering Graduate Seeking Full-Time Job in Northern Nigeria

I’m a 26-year-old Muslim with an HND in Computer Engineering Technology. I completed NYSC in June 2025 as a Corper Liaison Officer in Ungogo LGA, Kano. I stayed on after service to explore opportunities in Northern Nigeria. I’m now enrolled in NOUN, Kano, to pursue a BSc in Computer Science. With distinctions in both my ND and HND, I’ve been placed directly into 300 level and expect to graduate in two years. I sustain myself through online digital skills but want a stable, full-time role. I’m eager for a new challenge that will let me grow professionally. Please let me know if you’re aware of any IT or related job openings.

Have you reached out to tech startups in Kano or linked with alumni from NOUN for potential openings?

Sure thing! I'll tap into Kano's startup scene and holler at NOUN alumni too. Should open doors.

Your background in liaison work could be valuable, but engineering firms here often look for hands-on project experience.

A BSc might not guarantee a job; real progress often comes from networking and practical projects, not just another degree.

Consider building a portfolio of small engineering projects online and share it with local employers and recruiters to boost your visibility.
