A Nigerian man, Simon Innocent Ejiga, has mourned his 38-year-old sister Mercy. She died in a toxic marriage and was laid to rest in their father’s compound in Kogi State on May 18, 2026. Overwhelmed by grief, he took comfort in knowing she was finally free from sleepless nights, secret tears, and threatening messages. “No more sleepless nights. No more threat messages. No more secret tears. No more toxic marriage,” he wrote after the burial. He thanked friends and family for their support and returned all praise to God. On behalf of the family of the late Hon. Simon Baba, he expressed deep gratitude. “Rest well, Mummy Praise mi.”
