Dele Momodu Backs Atiku-Obi Ticket, Says APC Is in Panic

Media mogul Dele Momodu has declared that a joint ticket of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi would be a formidable choice for the ADC. He shared this view during an appearance on a national political talk programme. Momodu noted that Atiku and Obi teamed up in 2019 and already share a similar temperament. He argued that Obi’s strong support base needs little effort to retain, since he finished third in the last election. He warned that the ruling party is rattled by the prospect of major opposition leaders uniting. According to Momodu, the APC has resorted to divisive tactics in a bid to weaken its rivals. Despite rallying governors and legislators, he insists the party’s panic is obvious when faced with strong opposition alliances.
