When God Bends Time: Turning “Not Yet” into “Now”

God is not bound by time. He can bring the future into the present. At a wedding in John 2:1–11, Jesus turned six waterpots into fine wine. Though He said, “My time has not yet come,” He reached into the future and made His moment arrive. In John 11:1–17, Lazarus had been dead four days. Yet Jesus, calling Himself the Resurrection and the Life, spoke life into the tomb. He embraced a promise reserved for after His resurrection and called Lazarus out. Trust God with faith. He created time and holds every moment in His hands. When situations seem delayed or beyond hope, believe—and you will see God’s glory.

Jesus's miracle at Cana suggests His timing operates on a different dimension, yet the text still mentions limitations.

When facing delays, pray for patience, reflect on lessons, and remain open to unexpected breakthroughs in God's timing.
