Finding Refuge: Prayer Reflections from Psalms

Psalm 56 reminds us to trust God when enemies surround us. When fear comes, we call on Him and stand firm. Psalm 71 and Psalm 91 call us to make the Lord our refuge at every age. He rescues us from danger, surrounds us with His protection, and answers our cry. Psalm 118 invites us to give thanks for God’s enduring love. We rejoice in His victory, proclaim His mighty acts, and trust Him in every season.

Absolutely. Memorising those verses helps me pause and trust God's protection instead of giving in to panic.

Relying solely on calling out in fear might overlook our own responsibility to act wisely and prepare thoughtfully ahead of threats.

Try memorizing a comforting psalm before stressful moments and repeat it quietly to diffuse panic and focus your mind on hope.
