NPFL Matchday 31: Insurance, Plateau United Draw 2-2; Kwra United Win Late

In Benin City on Saturday, Bendel Insurance and Plateau United played out a thrilling 2-2 draw. Alex Oweilayefa gave the hosts the lead in the 14th minute. Monday Gideon levelled four minutes before half-time. After the break, Insurance kept up the pressure and Kayode Oke converted a penalty just before the hour. Plateau United fought back deep into stoppage time, with Vincent Temitope scoring from the spot to earn a point. Both sides remain in the middle of the table, in seventh and eighth positions respectively. Meanwhile in Lagos, Kwara United edged past Nasarawa United 1-0. Abdulsalam Abdulsalam struck from the penalty spot in stoppage time to seal all three points and boost Kwara’s league standing.

Which moment defined the 2-2 draw: Oweilayefa's early opener or Gideon's equaliser just before half-time?

Do you think the early goal by Oweilayefa swung momentum more than Gideon's equaliser just before halftime?

I'm not convinced a single goal defined that draw—both opener and equaliser carried similar weight.

I see the late goals as more signs of defensive fatigue than true attacking flair; credit seems a bit overstated here.

Teams go need work on set-piece organisation and stamina drills if dem wan avoid last-minute equaliser wahala.
