UNIJOS to Resume First Semester Exams on April 13 After Security Review

UNIJOS to Resume First Semester Exams on April 13 After Security Review

The University of Jos has announced that first semester exams will resume on Monday, April 13, after some papers were postponed due to heightened security concerns. A management meeting on April 3 reviewed recent threats to student safety that led to an extended Easter break. Exams originally scheduled for March 30 will now be held on April 13. Deputy Registrar of Information and Public Relations Emmanuel Madugu advised students to contact their Faculty Examinations Time Table Officer for further clarification. Management assured those still on campus that security has been significantly strengthened. Students are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately. Normal university activities are set to resume from Tuesday, April 7.

Students should double-check the revised timetable and coordinate with departmental officials to ensure there are no last-minute changes.
