FIFA announced on June 14 that Côte d’Ivoire has the youngest squad at the 2026 World Cup. The Elephants’ team averages just 25.8 years. RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande, born in November 2006, is the squad’s youngest player. The youthful roster features talents like Amad Diallo, Bazoumana Tour, Christ Inao Oulai and Elye Wahi, all under 25. Other nations with notably young teams include Ecuador, Morocco, Bosnia and Herzegovina and South Africa.
