Dr Chris Okafor Teaches on the Role of the Holy Spirit in Christian Life

At Grace Nation’s Global School of Faith, Dr Chris Okafor taught on the role of the Holy Spirit in Christian life. He described the Holy Spirit as possessing the attributes of God and as the teacher who reveals Jesus Christ, gives believers guidance and shows them things to come. The teaching stressed that believers become new creatures when they are born again. It added that the Holy Spirit gives boldness, power, spiritual gifts and a deeper understanding of God’s word, while helping believers to pray effectively. On baptism in the Holy Spirit, the message said Christians can receive it through faith, prayer, speaking in tongues or the laying on of hands. The service at the church’s Ojodu Berger headquarters in Lagos also featured prayers for healing, deliverance and restoration.
