Musawa Launches Four Committees to Strengthen Nigeria’s Creative Economy
The Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy inaugurated four committees in Abuja. The teams—Policy & Strategy, Programmes & Implementation, Stakeholder Engagement and Monitoring & Evaluation—will design policy and financing frameworks for the sector. Under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, the ministry targets a ₦100 billion GDP boost and two million new jobs by 2030. The minister urged members to treat this work as nation-building. Supported by partners such as NESG, UNESCO and UNDP, these committees will submit terms of reference and a 90-day work plan by April 2026, with quarterly public updates to follow.
