Angelina Jolie Plans to Leave Los Angeles Now Her Twins Are Adults
Angelina Jolie is preparing to leave Los Angeles after her youngest children, twins Knox and Vivienne, turned 18. She feels the timing is right for the whole family to explore the world. According to People magazine, Jolie has long wanted her kids to experience life beyond California. She stayed in LA for years to ensure privacy and to meet obligations tied to her divorce. Now that all six of her children are legal adults, she may divide her time between Cambodia, where she has expressed a desire to live, and New York for work. She has also listed her historic Los Angeles estate, once owned by filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille, for sale. The move comes after an eight-year legal battle with former husband Brad Pitt over custody, finances and their Château Miraval vineyard. Several of their children have even petitioned to remove “Pitt” from their surnames.
