Armed Bandits Reportedly Move Through Gummi Communities on Over 100 Motorcycles

Residents of communities along the Gummi axis of Zamfara State have raised fresh security concerns after a large convoy of armed bandits was reportedly seen moving through the area over the past 48 hours. Local sources said the group, believed to be travelling on more than 100 motorcycles, passed through several communities in what appeared to be a show of force. No attack, casualty or property damage has been confirmed in connection with the reported movement. However, the incident has renewed fears about the continued presence and mobility of armed groups in parts of Zamfara State.
