Traditional Millipede Ritual for Financial Blessings

This post explains a Yoruba ritual called Okigbe Adarin used to attract wealth. Gather a whole millipede with all legs intact. Place it in a special pouch (ape ijogun) along with a pinch of dog-head ash. Light and burn the mixture on a charcoal stove. Once the mixture has burned, take the ashes and bury them around your waist, moving from your right side to your left. Ensure you perform this on an auspicious day for the ritual to work effectively.

Has anyone performed the Okigbe Adarin ritual with a full millipede and dog-head ash, and did it bring you financial blessings?

Can you describe how you handled and prepared the millipede before starting the ritual?

Burning a millipede alongside dog-head ash seems quite extreme compared to more common spiritual practices for wealth.

I am not convinced that harming creatures should be the go-to for blessings when there might be kinder alternatives.

If you decide to try this ritual, consider sourcing ethically gathered ingredients and performing it with clear intentions and respect.
