FUTO Student Launches EngX Academia to Simplify Engineering Graphics
Chukwudumebi Oruche, an engineering student at the Federal University of Technology Owerri, has launched EngX Academia, a study app designed to help peers master challenging technical courses, especially Engineering Graphics and Solid Modelling (GET102). The idea arose from his own struggles with GET102 during his first year. EngX Academia offers video tutorials that break down complex topics, AI-powered explanations to clarify difficult concepts, and integrated GPA and CGPA calculators. Since January, Oruche and his small team have built the platform and created all learning content from scratch. They focused on tools that promote understanding rather than rote memorization. EngX Academia debuted on the Play Store recently. Oruche says the project is still evolving and welcomes ongoing improvements to content quality and user experience.
