The driver I hired for my brother’s wedding sent me photos of an unfinished house. He explained he’s the only son and asked if I could fund the completion. He knew I was relying on friends and hotels for lodging, yet he still felt comfortable making that demand. Even requests from strangers and bandits haven’t been as bold.
