Koeman Warns Barcelona: Sign Rashford Permanently or Regret It
Former Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has urged the club to finalise Marcus Rashford’s loan move into a permanent deal this summer. Rashford opened the scoring with a superb free-kick in Barcelona’s recent El Clásico victory over Real Madrid. Koeman believes the England international’s pace and directness unsettled Los Blancos. With a €30 million buy-option available, Koeman called the fee “a bargain” in today’s market. He warned that Barcelona will “deeply regret” letting a player of Rashford’s quality return to Manchester United. This season Rashford has 14 goals and 14 assists in 47 appearances. He has also expressed his desire to stay at Camp Nou if terms are agreed.
