Nigeria opened the scoring in the 7th minute when Moses Simon converted Samuel Chukwueze’s assist. They doubled their lead in the 52nd minute through Akor Adams, set up by Ademola Lookman. Iran pulled one back via Mehdi Taremi in the 67th minute, but the Super Eagles held on for a 2-1 victory. The friendly formed part of Nigeria’s preparations for upcoming fixtures.
